Description:

We are currently seeking a talented, self-driven Technician to join our team. We are building and developing an automated mechatronic platform which can provide complete and innovative Eye Healthcare diagnostics. This platform interfaces to many devices, including embedded systems, and third-party equipment.

MIKAJAKI is located in Plan Les Ouates (Geneva).

Responsibilities:

  • Involvement in new equipment feasibility studies, specifications, product development verification and validation activities of mechatronic equipment.
  • Aid in the creation and maintenance of documentation related to design history files, risk analysis, and usability assessments, assembly instructions, product manuals, etc..
  • Work alongside other team members to assess project requirements, analyze and interpret data, elevate technology, provide technical advice, and consistently apply best practices.
  • Responsible for the set-up, operation, maintenance, and upgrades of the R&D protype and/or evaluation machines.

Essential skills and experience required:

  • Experience in troubleshooting of electrical-mechanical equipment
  • Experience with automation and motion control systems
  • Good knowledge of automated industrial equipment
  • Working proficiency (verbal and written communications) in English
  • Good team player

Nice to have:

  • Familiar with QMS requirements (i.e. ISO 13485)
  • Experience with automation and motion control systems
